Castle Rock High School currently has 1,900 students participating in sports, 100 of whom are seniors in varsity sports. The athletes were spending large sums of money purchasing senior banners from outside companies.
As the Athletic Director, Brandon Taylor wanted the ability to save students costs incurred from purchasing senior banners (about $150 per banner per sport). While at the National AV Conference, Taylor meet with Tierney and saw the potential of the posterPro package featuring HP's DesignJet Z5400 eprinter. Taylor shopped around and discovered that Tierney had "clearly the best price," and that Tierney's "customer sevice is phenomenal".
Castle Rock High School's Atletic Department is able to print senior banners for their students at a fraction of the cost of outside companies. They offer senior banners to their students for $40, saving them money while also benefiting the Booster Club Fundraising account.
Not only are students able to print senior banners, but the school also prints polypropolene adhesive clings to decorate the office windows, outfield signs for baseball and softball, and banners for their "Legends of Castle High" to induct students into their academic hall of fame.
