If you or your organization provides training on SMART products, consider the SMART Table Training Certification. Certification training goes beyond the basics with extensive hands-on training that enables you to train others effectively. The credential you will receive gives you the required skills to deliver high-quality training for the SMART Table™ interactive learning center.
Unless otherwise indicated, events are delivered using SMART Notebook™ collaborative learning software and the SMART Table Toolkit on the Microsoft® Windows® operating system.

Upon successful completion of this program, you will be certified to deliver full-day SMART training sessions on SMART Table software.
- You will receive guided instruction and practice facilitating the SMART Table Training session
- You will receive a certificate, a letter of completion and logos that indicate your designation
- You can purchase or download SMART Learner Workbooks
- You will be listed as a SMART Certified Trainer on the SMART website
- You can market yourself as a SMART Certified Trainer for the SMART Table
To participate in this training event, please bring a laptop computer with the most recent version of SMART Notebook collaborative learning software, and the SMART Table Toolkit installed.
Certification candidates are required to bring a laptop computer with the most current SMART Notebook software and the SMART Table Toolkit already installed, complete with any updates or service packages.
Recommended pre-session requirements
Certification candidates are recommended to be approved SMART Certified Trainers in SMART Notebook software prior to attending a SMART Table Training Certification event.
What to expect
- One day of basic SMART Table end-user training. As a certification candidate, you will use this day to review or learn how to use SMART Table software. You will also observe the sequence, emphasis and delivery method that a SMART Certified Trainer uses to facilitate this training session.
- One day of SMART Table certification training. You will receive facilitation material, coaching and practice that will help you deliver the high-quality SMART Table training sessions your customers expect from a SMART Certified Trainer.
NOTE: The program includes post-certification requirements that must be completed before you receive accreditation.

Learning materials
- SMART Table Learner Workbook – the learner's reference tool during the training session
Facilitation materials
- SMART Table Facilitator's Guide – the comprehensive guide for delivering a SMART Table Training session
- A CD, which includes demonstration files, training presentation files and product User's Guides
Post-certification and ongoing requirements
- All participants must successfully complete an online certification assessment
- SMART Certified Trainers may be required to successfully complete an annual online assessment to maintain their designation
