Tierney Brothers Launches New Professional Development Division
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. December 21st, 2011 – Twin Cities based Tierney Brothers, Inc., an audiovisual technology firm, today launched a new Professional Development division. The new division will focus on helping schools and other organizations maximize the return on their technology investments through professional development.
“We want to teach people how get the most out of their new and existing technology,” said Jim Tierney, President and CEO of Tierney Brothers. “Take interactive whiteboard technology for example, many schools and businesses have invested in SMART Boards but are they using them correctly? Are they using 10% of the features when they could be using 100%? We want to help them get to 100%.”
Tierney Brothers will offer professional development in a variety of forms including live online training, face to face training sessions and pre-recorded content via video on demand. Services will be delivered by a staff of certified professionals and industry experts including licensed teachers for K-12 professional development and manufacturer certified technicians for technical training.
