AV Markets / House of Worship / Case Study Augustana Lutheran Church

Augustana Lutheran Church wanted to provide a more engaging and compelling environment for its worshippers

Tierney Brothers installed audio video equipment in three areas in the Church. The audio in each of the areas is distributed through a pair of new JBL wall mounted self amplified speakers. The control of the system in each of the rooms includes hand held remotes that come with the projectors.

In the Luther Room, a new InFocus 2700 XGA projector is mounted below the ceiling and projects on to the screen. The system is tied together with a VGA/Audio computer connection. A twelve foot long cable allows connection to a laptop/computer via a wall plate.

In the Jerusalem Room, a new InFocus 2700 XGA projector is mounted below the ceiling and projects on to a new ceiling mounted DaLite Model C screen. The screen is 69” x 92” in size and has the Controlled Screen Return feature. The connections at the new wall plate is for a VGA/Audio computer connection and allows connection to laptop/computer via the wall plate.

In the Disciple Room, a new InFocus 3000 WXGA projector is mounted below the ceiling for projection onto a screen on the wall. Also in this room, the connections allow for a VGA/Audio computer input as well as a HDMI digital connection.

Impact:

  • A greatly enhanced worship space to increase the enjoyment of worshippers and staff
  • A flexible audio visual solution for future expansion
