To outfit their police station to become a community-inclusive hub, the City of Lakeville needed advanced audio/visual equipment that was user-friendly and adaptable.
The vision of the Lakeville Police Department is to be regarded by the community and fellow officers as the leading law enforcement agency in the state. As one of the fasted growing communities in the greater metro area, the city of Lakeville built a new police station to better protect and serve the community.
Tierney Brothers and the city of Lakeville worked closely to create rooms that were effective, functional, and easy to use. The police station was equipped with leading-edge LCD monitors to optimize the areas they were placed. In addition, advanced dispatch and locator systems were installed, providing effective communication for quick alerts and announcements throughout the building.
To increase community functionality, SMART boards were mounted in several training rooms for interactive communication. In each room, Creston key pads control all audio/visual equipment providing smooth interfacing between systems. Also, computer inputs, LCD projectors and recess mounted electric screens were integrated to better facilitate discussions or training.
