AV Markets / Corporate / Case Study ING

ING in St. Cloud was looking to enhance several areas of its offices with state-of-the-art audio visual displays for the benefit of its clients and staff.

The training/meeting center was upgraded to include a Panasonic PT-F200U 3200 lumen LCD projector suspended from the ceiling using ceiling mounted hardware. A variety of sources are linked to the projector including a PC and a table top laptop connection through a wall interface. The computer and laptop utilize an RGBHV signal for enhanced signal receptivity. Both of these signals feed through a wall plate to the projector. Audio is routed to the projector’s internal speaker in this room and is controlled via an Extron Medialink 52 RS wall mounted button panel. The panel provides projector on/off, source selection and volume control. The computer and video amplifiers will be mounted under the table for ease of use and versatility. All providing a great meeting setting for clients and staff.

The weight room utilized the existing audio system and expanded to include six speakers. Independent volume control was proposed as part of the design to increase the functionality of the space. Special hardware, speakers and wire were used to blend into the aesthetics of the space. In addition, two 28” LCD displays were pole mounted near the entrance to provide a visually appealing entree for constituents. A computer located at the fitness center desk provides a signal to a distribution amplifier so that the same signal and images are available to both displays.
