"We could have selected a technology partner from anywhere in the world. We chose Tierney Brothers because of their exceptional service, great communications, and outstanding track record."

Three areas were identified as key areas for customer interaction: Queue Area, Guest Comfort Area and Outdoor Entry. Tierney Brothers, Inc. provided exceptional solutions for each area.

Tierney Brothers installed three 40” NEC LCD displays in the queue area of the front lobby. In addition, Tierney Brothers, Inc. installed two 60” NEC plasma displays on both sides of the self assist island. Tierney Brothers also installed a 42” NEC LCD display on the wall of the service counter area as well as an NEC 42” plasma display on the wall of the seating area. Audio reinforcement will be accomplished through three separately controlled zones. This included 10 JBL wall flush mounted speakers in the queue area, four JBL flush mounted circular speakers in the guest comfort area and two Community Audio outdoor surface mounted speakers.

As an additional highlight, sources to the facility displays will include one channel of a Tightrope Media Systems digital signage carousel server providing customer programmed digital signage content. The tightrope server can be remotely accessed through an internet connection for changes in programming or troubleshooting purposes. To keep all of this coordinated, an Extron Crosspoint 8x16 Matrix switcher allows any individual video source to be viewed on any one of the seven displays throughout the facility. The Crosspoint will also allow any audio source to be routed to each of the audio zones. The Extron Crosspoint has additional audio inputs that can be used for a CD player, or auxiliary audio device if desired.

A Crestron Quadview processor was installed allowing four independent video sources to be viewed on any display simultaneously. A Crestron Pro2 control system provides complete control of all audio video functions including power source selection and volume control for each audio zone. The Crestron control system is a wired touch panel the will allow the user to preview the video output and make changes to source material on each of the seven display devices. Crestron X-Panel provides a remote user access to all touch panel functions as well as monitor preview. Remote access will also allow for system updates and trouble shooting from an offsite location.
